Keto Sausage Balls are the perfect snack or meal for the keto diet! They are extremely convenient to make, are chalked full of needed fats, have very few carbs, and contain no sugar! On top of that, they store extremely well and make for the perfect on the go snack!
You have probably heard of sausage balls before. They are a super popular party snack and treat, and for good reason! They are delicious.
The problem with most traditional sausage balls is that they typically require a baking mix like Bisquick, which is chalked full of carbs and other unhealthy ingredients!
Fear not though, because this keto sausage ball recipe is completely keto friendly and contains quality keto ingredients!
Like I’ve already mentioned, keto sausage balls make for the perfect appetizer, party snack, breakfast, or even lunch or dinner! Serve these along with a veggie and you have a wonderful keto meal, or enjoy these keto sausage balls with some scrambled eggs and you have an awesome keto friendly breakfast! It’s a win-win all the way around.
What makes these keto sausage balls great (other than the sausage) is probably the combination of cream cheese and cheddar cheese. The combination of the two similar, yet different flavors, leaves you with a rich and hearty keto friendly food!

Dipping Sauces For Sausage Balls
These keto sausage balls are amazing on their own, but if you want to turn up the flavor, consider a dipping sauce! Some of the best options include:
- Stevia Sweet BBQ Sauce
- G Hughes BBQ Sauces
- Ranch Dressing
- G-Hughes Honey Mustard (sugar free, keto friendly)
If you are enjoying these keto sausage balls for breakfast, I recommend making some sunny side up eggs and dipping these sausage balls in the yolk! Super yummy!

Do Keto Sausage Balls Freeze Well?
Yes! Aside from the great taste, one of the best things about these keto sausage balls is how well they store! Whip up a batch of these keto sausage balls and you have a snack for the rest of the week!
For short term storage, throw your leftovers in an air tight container or plastic bag and store them in the fridge for up to two or three days.
For long term storage, it is best to freeze these sausage balls on a baking sheet and then transfer them to a container or freezer bag. The reason being is that if you freeze them while still warm (or even room temperature), the moisture may cause them to freeze together making them difficult to portion out once they are frozen.
